<p>I love cars and this year I have seen more new models than any time in the recent. The new Rav4, new Premio, the new Harrier are all sleek but one car really caught my attention and I go wooow every time I see it pass by.</p><p>The Toyota IST new model. The previous model was cute but they nailed it harder this time round. I see guys flossing around with it and it looks good on young an<b>d</b><b> mature a</b><b>like</b>. Am not going to buy it right now but am definately going to have it all weekend long. Especially after finding out that its name <b>came from the word Ist</b>, meaning capable of <b>doing nice</b> and<b> wonderful things.</b> </p><p>I love the curves, the space inside, the compact design and I guess under a magnifying glass you would think it is a range rover. People have developed their own check points, not to mean that the scientific rain forecast is obsolete, but it is so general in nature such that farmers feel safer to rely on means within their surrounding which are more specific to them. </div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal">The tendency to plant just when the rain season is about is in some sense similar to positional investment.  Positional investment, however, relies more on guidance by scientific know-how of how the system operates than on ones intuition. Unlike the traditional means I have described regarding the farmer which are based on belief and on myths, positional investing, and this on a strict sense, relies on a causation process that helps us predict the future with more certainty under different states of nature. </div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal">For example, most of us know the basic laws of demand and supply not by attending any economic classes or calculus on elasticity of the two forces but by logic. Yes, everyone knows that if we produce more grapes than people need them, we will certainly need to lower their price or their rotting force us to so that they can be absorbed from us. Similarly, if we need so much something that is not readily available we will definitely need to offer more for it. Positional investment, and this is just one of the many guides, may use these simple laws to make predictions based on the information we already have.  </div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal">of importance is to know the fundamental role information plays in the accuracy of any ones expectations about the future following this tool of prediction. The interpretation of the information is the key to an accurate prediction. However, the information must be correct in the first place. Actually we are to blame, yes we are if we just take steps to telling stories that reflect positively on Kenya maybe just maybe the person inquiring might have done a better research about Kenya and known that Ebola (that was the viewer's main concern) is yet to get to Kenya, and for Robertson well, AIDS is kind of everywhere and anyone can contract it but I can't remember being told that I can get AIDS from towels!!!<br />If we only focused more on telling stories about development I'm sure investors will see sense in coming to invest in Africa knowing that they will get returns but what are we putting out there? Corruption, bad leadership, and terrorism; who would want to be associated with that? Who are these or what are these things that have drawn so much attention?  To begin with, they are not things but a group of people. The best definition of any tool, object or subject is by saying what it does. But if two words are combined to name an object, the best definition would be linking the definitions of the two. Hooligans are hooligans, it does not matter the prefix, or word before them. Gor is a short form of a football club in Kenya called Gor Mahia FC. So, who are these Gor hooligans? At one hand are the allies, who are the supporters of the team and its top management. The second group is the enemies, or those who support rival teams with their management. The last group is the group I ascribe to, that of the neutrals, those who know that somebody must be responsible for the destruction of property that occurred in Machakos town after the game between Gor Mahia and Sofapaka. Depending on the group one is in, different conclusions have been drawn on what the necessary action should be against those who destroyed property.</div><br><div class="MsoNormal"><br></div><div class="MsoNormal">The allies argue that the destruction was stage managed. They believe those who destroyed property had been paid by their opponents to tarnish their public image and as such the team should be left out of that. They don’t give us the one who is responsible if not their team though. The second group argues that the fans of Gor are well known for producing chaos even after they win. Gor fans have been riotous before, they should therefore be punished this time round so that in future they tame such irresponsible and primitive behavior. The enemies supplement their argument by adding that even if the riot was stage managed, Gor fans have created this possibility for their adversaries to take advantage of. </div><div class="MsoNormal"><br></div><div class="MsoNormal">The last group, which is my group, says that rules are rules and they should not be changed to favor a relative. Rules are applied directly to the accused unless there is proof they are accused falsely. Therefore, let Gor be burned, or punished in whatever way the authorities see appropriate so that other simple minded fans may learn a lesson from them. The best way to punish a fan is to punish the team they support for their mistakes. If they are too loyal as they claim to be to Gor, let them support the team peacefully. </div>

It is in this line that any other investor is busy looking for some information regarding the future state of the market they are in. </div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal">Blind investing, guided by faith generated from heresy has misled so many youths in Africa, encouraging them to put their little money in seemingly profitable  ventures at the moment that at the time of harvest ruin their expectations. How does this ruin come by and is it avoidable?</div><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal">It is by understanding how this profitable ventures at the moment turn to loss makers in near future that you will be able to position yourself and make sound investment decisions. Majority of people make decisions based on now. They forget the future of tomorrow and this is what makes the difference in future profitability of many ventures. If it is public such and such an investment is making extra ordinary profits, what follows is that every other investor and want-to-be investors want to invest in it. This tendency has the effect of raising the price of raw materials then, so the cost of investing in that venture goes high. If it was some crop, or animal that takes time to rare, it will take the same period of time and therefore during maturity, the many investors who invested it will bring it to the market. At the end of the day, the surplus will bring down prices sharply in the market. Low prices-high cost of investing=loss definitely. At this point the investors will be crying to the government for some help.</div><br /><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal">Here is the trick, the next time you hear doing something is profitable, hold your horses, analyze the spread of this information. Check for possibilities that the market is shielded by some regulation, or other natural factor so that anyone else cannot come running to invest in it. If you find investing in it is rather very free, forget it, or, be wise enough to invest in supplying the raw materials. <span style="font-size: large;">After trying all necessary means to protect its consumers and agents (<i>from I honestly don't know what</i>) the telecom giant in Kenya lost its case and a new player is about to take the money transfer business by storm.</span><br><span style="font-size: large;">Equity bank's entry into the mobile money transfer market is now causing agents in the other providers sleepless nights. Equity through the thin SIM technology will enable the users to remain on their preferred varrier but enjoy more affordable money transfer services.</span><br><span style="font-size: large;">Now tell me, <b>who doesn't like it cheaper even by a shilling?</b> Equity bank became the biggest bank in east Africa in clients with most of them middle and low income earners through offering affordable banking services. We had a dream, and some of us still have the dream to be our own bosses some day. We imagine a beautiful scenario by putting ourselves in our bosses’ shoes and figure out how life would be fun. Sometimes it can even be tempting to imagine an unrealistic boss, one who sleeps very early and wakes up late, comes to work late to find all the chores already done by their juniors. This misleading imagination has made many people quit their well paying jobs with hope that the business world will easily accept them. A few have made it, but so many have regretted why they left their work in the first place.  So, what makes the difference between those who make it and those whom the business environment filters out? After doing some research on this question, I ended up studying those who have never been employed by anyone but have built their businesses from scratch. Fascinated by their stories, I gave them the name ‘Business addicts’.<br /><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal">This is where many of us who fail often miss the point. We are excited about a business we have seen in its maturity forgetting the realities and challenges it had to go through growing up. Business is like a tree that business addicts have a hobby in planting. They are so passionate about it that they are not threatened or discouraged by the risk of it dying before it gives the first fruit. As a matter of fact, they probably have planted so many which have withered and dried before the one we see today survived. They have the skill of tending to it and the professional know-how of when to water, prune, and fertilize the tree. Their passion builds courage to face the challenges in the business environment. But one ought to be careful not to mistake their courage with blind bravery, rather, wisdom from acquired information about their market and industry helps them prepare in advance on how to face on coming winds, gaging whether the tree will withstand the winds by bending or it will need support.  This ability to predict market is so critical in buying a mature business or building a new one. An entrepreneur who sells a productive mature tree may seem foolish, but if his/her fears about the future of the business turn true, and for example in that future a wild disease of foreign competition attacks the tree killing it, the buyer will be left cursing their own wisdom.<br /><br /></div><div class="MsoNormal">Success of business addicts builds their confidence and ability to persevere. They know despite the current setbacks, guided by wisdom soon they will make a kill. So the next time you plan to have a business, remember to plan for the business first, then to survive emulate the typical business addict.</div><br /><div class="MsoNormal"><br /></div>

<br>Just like any other journey mine had to start but the start wasn’t a rosy one I mean who fancies pawpaw instead of fries (I never used to like pawpaw or papaya I think it was the taste or the smell can’t really tell), my family thought I was sick they couldn’t understand my transition though they sort of understood why I had to do it. Just like any other journeys I have had setbacks I fell sick once or twice making me halt my routine which sort of was disrupting my goal, in taking a journey you’ve got to have a goal or destination only then will you realize how far you have come and will keep pushing yourself to the goal.<br><br>  What I have come to learn is that no matter what journey you are on the results will surprise you provided that you stick to it and look at where you are going. For me I was looking for physical wellness not knowing that I also needed emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness which I got a long my journey. My journey has taught me a lot about discipline, you can’t take up a journey without commitment otherwise you will go off the road. I continue to learn more about myself as I go along this road.<br><br>  Thinking of starting a journey?
