Tusker FC registered their first win of the 2015 campaign, beating Ulinzi Stars 2-1 in one of the midweek fixtures played on Wednesday 25 March.
Tusker, who had previously registered a draw and a loss, beat Ulinzi thanks to goals from Aboud Omar and Jesse Were while Oscar Wamalwa scored the consolation goal for the Soldiers.
Nyayo double header
At the Nyayo Stadium, Eric Mmata and Collins Kisuya scored a goal each for their respective teams as Mathare United and Chemelil Sugar played out to a one-all draw
In another Nyayo Stadium match, AFC Leopards beat Nakuru AllStars 3-1 thanks to goals from Emmanuel Ngama, who grabbed a brace, and Jacob Keli. William Ochieng scored AllStars’ lone goal.
Kisumu/ City/ Mbaraki action
At the Moi Stadium Kisumu, ten-man Western Stima saw off Nairobi City Stars 2-1, thanks to a brace from Hedmond Mauda. Dan Makori scored City Stars consolation goal.
At the Mbaraki Sports Club, Bandari FC registred a 3-1 win over KCB with David Kingatua, George Abege and Masoud Juma scoring Bandari’s goals while Raymond Murugi scored KC’s goal.
Ushuru FC settled for a barren draw with Thika United FC.
NOTE: SoNy Sugar Vs Gor Mahia and Sofapaka FC Vs Muhoroni Youth were postponed after Gor ad Sofapaka requests, citing unavailability of key players who are away with the National team on International duty.
