Kenyan Premier League has moved up five positions in the latest edition of the Strongest National Leagues of the world.

KPL is now in the 109thposition, five positions up from 114 in the world with 123 points according to the 2014 (compiled from 1st January 2014 to 31st December 2014) version of International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS). 

Tunisia best in AFRICA, Sudan the best in CECAFA 
The Tunisian League is the best ranked in Africa but placed 30th in the world, followed by Egypt who are in the 44th position and South Africa in the 54thposition. Algeria (position 59) and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) (66) complete the top five leagues in Africa. 
In the CECAFA region, Sudan league is the highest ranked league, placed in the 90th position globally. Burundi League is second (106), KPL is third, Rwanda league is fourth (111), while Uganda League is fifth in the CECAFA region (112).

Global
Globally, the Spanish League is still top (for the fifth year in a row), followed by Seria A (Italy), English Premier League (England), Primera Division (Argentina) and Bundesliga (Germany)are the top five league in the world. 

The rankings, produced annually since 1991 by the IFFHS, are based on club results from national and intercontinental competitions.
