Kenyan Premier League side Gor Mahia and Sofapaka kickstart their CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup assignments this weekend, with both matches being played at the Nyayo National Stadium.
Gor host CNAPS of Madagascar on Saturday while Sofapaka host FC Platinum of Zimbabwe on Sunday 15 February. Both matches kick off from 1600hour.

According to Gor's official website, they will miss the services of newly signed quintet of  Innocent Wafula, Abouba Sibomana, Meddie Kegere, Ernest Wendo as well as Karim Nizigiyimana, who are ineligible to play as they were signed after the CAF registration deadline had passed.
On the other hand, Sofapaka have no injury concerns and will only miss the services of Clifton Miheso who is attending trials in Finland with VPS and Eugene Asike who is yet to resume training after his demand for contract termination fell through.

The return matches will be played in a fortnight.
