Sofapaka, Gor Mahia opens KPL in style

Defending champions Gor Mahia proved being at the top by beating Mathare United 4-2 on Saturday at the Nyayo Stadium as Sofapaka maintained their position two by beating Ushuru 2-1.

With the big teams winning a new team in the league Bandari FC proved they are worth playing in the big league after beating Muhoroni youth 3-1 at Baraki sports ground in Mombasa.

The two leagues are now ongoing as FKF threatens to take action on teams and referees who will participate in the KPL, but is that the solution? Its time now Nyamwea and his team compose themselves, stop threats and get back to the dialogue table with the KPL managers.
