I am one who is ever fascinated by the possibilities of doing easy business that can earn more than average returns. So, is any other business man, we are ever thirsty for promising opportunities. But first, let me clarify something, business opportunities have to be distinguished from mysterious ways of making money popular in school boys’ gossip. For example, I am not talking about a search for some ancient feather, probably of an owl, is imagined to be very valuable today if found, neither do I want us to ascribe to ‘the old wise man’ wisdom common in tales.
Here is the point, for a good business opportunity, you have to identify a gap. For a gap to exist there has to be a need. So, rather than asking oneself, how do I make money? One ought to think in terms of need of the society or the world. What is it that people need and is not given to them, or can be served in a better way? After you identify the need, match it with a product or service. This is where you should come in as an entrepreneur. Once you have identified the gap, think of how people will know that you are attending to their need. I am talking of advertising. Remember, the more common the need you have identified is, the greater the market for your product. It all narrows down to embracing one’s creativity.
